RSS, Email, and Living without the Ideal

So, right now I am playing around with the Acme mail program. Acme is a pretty nice interface for doing text oriented tasks, such as text editing and the like. It's built on Plan 9 principles, and I think it works pretty well. Unfortunately, there was no RSS reader that I could find for it which really worked, or any other RSS reader for Plan 9 that I could work with plan9ports. Instead, I found rss2email. I really like this program. It works pretty well, it is easy to set up, and it's just a great way to do RSS in an environment without native RSS readers. Granted, I could have used a number of other programs, but none of them quite came across with the same independence and portability that rss2email does.
