Status Report: SLI, Books

Well, let's start with the bad news. While I am almost caught up on my SLI homework from the recent Thanksgiving feasco, the others are not fairing so well, at least, not from what I can tell. ;) Granted, I can understand that. This is a sort of friendly reminder to them all; I don't want to push them too hard at this juncture.

Now, for the good news. I am locking down a lot of my book plots through strategic outlining. See, I knew that I couldn't make it all work normally, so I am thinking that if I just take a top down approach, and slowly hack away, I'll have a consistent story outline working in a very short order. Right now I have a narrative oriented outline going pretty well, and I am working on completing the outline for the first book, Sacrifice Puellae. I am not sure how I am going to work that book, because it is already partly written in normal text. I am thinking that I'll probably see if I can't convert a lot of it over to the poetic style which I hope will help me write in a manner more to my liking. Another good thing that I think most of you will find very easing is that when I write in these poetical forms, it means that there will be much less swearing in the books. I know that some people do not want to read that, and I am in no ways going to expect them to do so; writing in this manner should allow me to get the point across satisfactorily without having to use swearing.

Just thought I ought to give you all an update on how all of that is going.
