Preparing for the ICFP Programming Contest

I have decided to make a stab at the ICFP Programming Contest this year. Moreover, I have decided to do it in APL, as opposed to something with which I am more familiar, like Scheme. I don't know how that will go, and who knows, maybe the contest will not even let me work in APL. Somehow, I think I should be able to manage it. :devil:

On that note, does anyone have any good ideas for preparing for the contest?
